History of Our Pharmacy Benefits Management Firm

Dr. Martin McDonough established Outcome Resources in 2000 as a nationwide Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) exclusively for hospices. While doing clinical consulting to hospices and long-term care facilities, Dr. McDonough discovered hospices had a need for unbiased clinical expertise in the field of pain and symptom management; he founded Outcome Resources to fill this need. To this day, Dr. McDonough plays an active role in the day-to-day management as our CEO, as well as consulting with our many hospice partners about clinical issues that affect patient care.
